About us - Kallure Creative and Handmade Studio with over 8 years of experience

We are Kallure Creative & Handmade Studio, a team with ten years of experience in the IT industry, where as developers we work daily on developing software, websites, and 3D visualizations. Over the years, we've completed numerous successful projects and collaborations, delivering solutions that are as functional as they are visually impactful. For us, merging digital development and handcrafted work was the only natural path. But, with time, we've realized that technology works best when a bit of human warmth is added. That's why we have complemented our programming expertise with unique handmade products. Whether we are working on your new website or decorations for your important moments, our goal is the same: to create something recognizable, honest, and made with care.

Kallure Creative & Handmade Studio

Leona and Karlo, a creative duo who share a passion for design, technology and handcrafting. As developers by profession, every day we bring together our love for the digital world and the irresistible charm of handmade details. It all started as a hobby and a shared idea to fill our free time with creating - from personalized websites, apps and 3D design, all the way to elegant, handmade gifts such as scented soy wax flower boxes, invitations and decorations for special occasions. Our goal is to connect the digital and the traditional, and to enrich every product and service with the warmth of handcrafting, making it unforgettable and special.

The name “Kallure” was created by combining our names - Karlo and Leona - with the addition of the word “allure”, which in French means attractiveness, charm and elegance. We wanted a name that would reflect our shared creative energy, as well as the aesthetic we strive to convey in everything we do. The inspiration from French culture is no coincidence, since our grandparents spent more than a decade there. Growing up, we often listened to their stories and absorbed a love for the French language, fashion, gastronomy and art, which spontaneously wove itself into our creative story. Thus the name “Kallure” became a symbol of our shared journey, but also a promise we make to every client: that our products and services will always be attractive, elegant and unique.

The idea to combine programming and handcrafting was born spontaneously, as a natural consequence of our shared interests and our desire to express ourselves creatively in several different ways. Since we work professionally in programming, we create digital products every day - websites, apps and design. Yet we have always been drawn to the warmth, personality and authenticity of handmade items. It was precisely from that desire for tangible creation that we decided to use our technical skills as a complement to handmade products. We discovered that combining technology and handcrafting makes it possible to create products that are not only aesthetically beautiful, but also functional and uniquely tailored to each client. Our goal is to offer the best of both worlds - the precision, efficiency and innovation of a digital approach, combined with the emotion, warmth and care that handcrafting brings.

Our greatest inspiration comes from within ourselves - from the desire to create a better, more fulfilling life. We are driven by the idea of creating something of our own while we are young, something that has value and meaning, without fear of failure. We don't want to ask ourselves one day “what if”, but to say with pride: “At least we tried.” It is precisely that courage, curiosity and need to create that pushes us forward every day - both in creative projects and in business challenges.

Ever since the time of the pandemic we have worked from home, practically together around the clock - although that sounds challenging to some, it has allowed us to share ideas every day, exchange opinions and develop projects we might never even have touched if we were constantly on the move. We complement each other wonderfully - I lean more toward creative expression, while Karlo's part is more technical, which gives us an excellent balance in everything we do. The biggest challenge? A lack of time. Between our full-time jobs and the extra work on private projects, many ideas stay “on hold”, even though those very ideas are often what motivates us the most. But everything has its time - we try not to skip anything, but to develop what truly has value slowly, yet with quality.

Through working together we have learned that, no matter how beautiful and fulfilling work may be, health is still the most important thing. When you do what you love, it is easy to fall into the trap of overloading yourself with obligations - because everything sounds interesting, inspiring and “just this one more thing”. But over time you realize how important it is to listen to your body, to know when to stop and to take on only as much work as is enough.

We don't want our effort and earnings to be spent one day on recovery. That is why we are learning to balance - to choose projects that truly delight us, to work with quality instead of too much, and to leave ourselves room for life, health and peace.

We don't like to make big predictions in advance - we prefer to go step by step, day by day, to listen to opportunities and develop in the direction that comes to us naturally. Our goal is not to become a “big studio” overnight, but to stay authentic, to do what we love and, in doing so, to build something that has value - for us, but also for those we work with. Where will we be in a few years? We hope - still together, creative, healthy and with even more beautiful stories behind us.
